Kelly Trindel, PhD

Kelly Trindel, Ph.D. is Chief Analyst at the EEOC. She has been providing analytic support for systemic investigations and case development since 2010. She specializes in 'big data' issues, including changing human resource models and technology, people analytics, and employment screens of credit history and criminal background.

Prior to joining EEOC Kelly was employed as a Professor of Research Psychology, teaching various courses in social science, research methods, and statistics. Kelly has also worked as a Program Statistician, overseeing data collection and analysis for graduate students and university faculty. She has presented at many events, including academic conferences, EEOC outreach events, and internal and cross-agency training sessions, on such topics as social science research, employment screens, people analytics, and employer self-analysis of demographic data. Kelly has been published in the Encyclopedia of Social Psychology and the Journal of Memory and Language. She has also been employed as an Adjunct Professor while working at EEOC, teaching courses in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Social and Personality Psychology and Psychological Testing, as time permits. She has over fifteen years of experience in quantitative research including theory building, data collection, and analysis. Kelly earned a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from the University of Texas at Arlington.
