ALDOT Forms

Thank you for contacting the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission ("EEOC"). Individuals who were formerly part of the "Reynolds Hiring Class" now have 180 days from the receipt of the notice decertifying the class to file a charge with EEOC. According to the recent court decision, the Reynolds Hiring Class includes all African-Americans who claim they were denied hiring opportunities with the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) on the basis of race at any time between May 21, 1979 and March 19, 2015.  If you were an applicant to the Alabama Department of Transportation and you believe that you were not hired because of your race, you may have a right to file a charge of discrimination with the EEOC. To begin the process of filing a charge of employment discrimination with the EEOC, complete the forms available at the following links.  Choose either ALDOT Birmingham Office or ALDOT Mobile Office to obtain the forms applicable in your case as identified by the EEOC representative that you have spoken with. Answer questions as briefly and completely as possible.  After completing these forms, sign and date them and return them immediately to the office name and address listed on the forms.
