Interpretation of Results

Survey results reveal that EEOC employees are committed to their work, have confidence in their co-workers, are held accountable, and are given support to get the job done. On the other hand, employees believe their workload is unreasonable.

How the Survey Was Conducted

The survey was conducted online from September 17, 2008 through October 19, 2008.

Description of Sample

All EEOC employees were invited to participate in the survey.

Invitations were sent to all EEOC employees (2,196). Of the 2,196 employees surveyed, 1,431 responded for a 65% response rate. The response rate for Headquarters was 62%, while the response rate for the Field was 68%. The respondents are representative of the population.
