U.S. EEOC Harassment Task Force to Host Public Meeting, First In Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES - The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's (EEOC) Select Task Force on the Study of Harassment in the Workplace, led by EEOC Commissioners Chai Feldblum and Victoria Lipnic, will meet publicly in Los Angeles on Oct. 22. The task force examines the problem of harassment in the workplace and seeks to identify new and creative ways by which it might be prevented and eliminated. WHAT: Public meeting of the EEOC Select Task Force on the Study of Harassment in the Workplace. Theme: "Promising Practices to Prevent Workplace Harassment"

WHEN: Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015 9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. PDT (closed session thereafter)

Seating is limited, and the EEOC encourages visitors to arrive 30 minutes before the meeting in order to be processed through security and escorted to the meeting room.  Visitors should bring a government-issued photo identification card to facilitate entry into the building.
