EEOC Opens Registration for EXCEL 2024, August 19-22, 2024 in New Orleans

WASHINGTON - Registration for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s (EEOC) 27th Examining Conflicts in Employment Laws (EXCEL) Training Conference is now open. Industry professionals are invited to join Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Human Resources (HR), and Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) professionals and practitioners from private, state & local, and federal organizations in New Orleans, La. August 19-22 for the 2024 EXCEL Conference.

The theme, “60 Years of the Civil Rights Act: Pursuing Justice / Celebrating Progress” celebrates the 60th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Attendees will learn about the latest developments from leading EEO/HR professionals, industry consultants, academics, attorneys, professional speakers and trainers, and industry suppliers. The pre-conference and workshop sessions will cover employment topics including harassment in the workplace and the EEOC’s newly updated guidance, eliminating barriers in recruitment and hiring; pay equity; racial and systemic discrimination; AI and algorithmic fairness; emerging and developing issues regarding workers affected by pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions, including under the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA); and discrimination influenced by or arising as backlash in response to local, national, or global events.

EXCEL 2024 attendees will gain practical knowledge, ideas, and tools to help them succeed in their jobs and bring value to their organizations.
