EEOC Sues Zachry Construction Corporation For  Disability Discrimination

Zachry Construction Corporation, a San Antonio-based construction and industrial contractor, violated federal law when it fired several employees whose post-offer medical questionnaires and subsequent medical examinations revealed they had disabilities, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit.  At the time of termination, all these employees were already performing their job duties in a satisfactory manner, the EEOC said.

EEOC Approves Strategic Plan for Fiscal Years 2018-2022

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has announced the appointment of two career federal employees to key Senior Executive Service (SES) mana­gerial positions at the agency. EEOC Releases Fiscal Year 2017 Enforcement  And Litigation Data

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) today announced that 84,254 workplace discrimination charges were filed with the federal agency nationwide during fiscal year (FY) 2017, and secured $398 million for victims in the private sector and state and local government workplaces through voluntary resolutions and litigation.
