Outreach and Training Internships - Office of Field Programs

The Office of Field Programs of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has internship opportunities available for undergraduate and graduate students. The Office of Field Programs oversees and provides guidance and support to all of the EEOC's field offices in the private and public sector enforcement programs.  The EEOC is the federal agency charged with enforcing federal laws prohibiting employment discrimination, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title I of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, the Equal Pay Act and the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act.

Depending on background and experience, interns will assist the Outreach and Training Coordinator with various projects to include, without limitation, reviewing, developing and assembling training materials; entering, tracking and preparing reports on outreach events conducted across the country; and designing/editing and collaborating about outreach and training publications, manuals, etc.  Interns may also assist with other tasks associated with the Office of Field Programs.

Applicants should have an interest in public policy, strong Microsoft Office experience, and creative design experience related to brochures and other printed materials, good writing, communication and organization skills. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Interns should expect to work at least 8 hours per week. EEOC internships are unpaid; however, interns may receive academic credit. The EEOC is an equal opportunity employer.

Interested students should email or mail a letter of interest, resume, and transcript to:
