Joyce Margulies is the principal in Margulies Employment Law Consulting. She provides legal advice in the area of labor and employment law to businesses locally and on a national level. Previously, she was Chief Counsel, Human Resources with International Paper Company from 1981-2009. Prior to her employment with International Paper, she was an associate with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom in New York City,

Ms. Margulies received her B.A. from the City College of New York and her J.D. from the Fordham University School of Law where she was an Articles Editor on the Fordham Law Review. She has lectured on employment law matters at many professional education seminars, including American and Memphis Bar Association meetings, the American Employment Law Council, the National Employment Law Institute and the Memphis Better Business Bureau. She is a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.
