Linda G. Burwell is a founding partner at Nemeth Burwell, P.C., a preeminent labor and employment law firm that works exclusively with employers to prevent, resolve, and litigate employment disputes. Ms. Burwell has successfully represented private and public companies in employment matters for the last 25 years and has served as panel counsel on EPL and D&O matters since the inception of EPLI. She is nationally recognized as a speaker and author on employment law and risk management issues, and often serves as the legal expert on panels involving employment matters. She is a member of the Michigan Bar, Ohio Bar and is admitted to practice before the Sixth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. Ms. Burwell has received numerous awards and honors including being named an ABA Foundation Fellow and being recognized in the Best Lawyers in America, Chambers USA, one of Michigan's Super Lawyers, Leaders in the Law by Michigan Lawyers Weekly, Top Lawyers by DBusiness Magazine, and she received a lifetime achievement award for Women in Leadership, from the Michigan Business & Professional Association.
