Hearing of March 16, 2016 - Public Input into the Proposed Revisions to the EEO-1 Report

Amanda Wood currently serves as the Director of Labor and Employment Policy for the National Association of Manufacturers where she is responsible for a number of high-priority policy where she oversees the NAM's labor and employment policy work with an expertise on issues ranging from labor, employment, OSHA, unions, wages and the federal rulemaking process as well as how current initiatives impact manufacturing competitiveness and job-creation. Prior to joining the NAM, Amanda served on the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee for Ranking Member, the Honorable Susan M. Collins (R-ME), as the Deputy General Counsel. From 2001 to 2006, Amanda was an Assistant General Counsel for the Real Property Division of the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) in Washington, D.C.

Amanda is a 2001 graduate of the University Of Maine School Of Law and is licensed to practice law in the State of Maine and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire, cum laude, in 1997 where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science, with a minor in justice studies.
