MARKUS L. PENZEL is a Senior Trial Attorney in the Boston Area Office of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, which he joined in April 1999. Prior to that, he was a shareholder in the firm of Garrison, Phelan, Levin-Epstein & Penzel, P.C. in New Haven, Connecticut. Prior to moving to New Haven in 1988, he clerked for the Hon. Irving L. Goldberg on the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and then worked as a Staff Attorney for Texas Rural Legal Aid in Brownsville, Texas. He is a graduate of Princeton University and the Yale Law School.
