EEOC Announces Agency-Wide Telework

In response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) is implementing agency-wide telework. Effective immediately all employees, other than the minimal staffing needed to handle mail, will be encouraged to telework until further notice.

This step allows the EEOC to continue to enforce the nation's employment anti-discrimination laws while taking measures to keep its employees and the public safe. Prior to this new policy, the EEOC had already implemented expanded

EEOC and Germantown Tool Reach Agreement to Resolve EEOC Charge

PHILADELPHIA - Germantown Tool, a manufacturing company in Huntingdon Valley, Pa., will pay $105,000 and furnish significant equitable relief to settle a harassment and retaliation charge filed with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.

Following an investigation, the EEOC found probable cause to believe that Germantown Tool harassed a former employee based upon his sex and terminated him in retaliation for his complaints about the harassment.
