Protocol Restaurant to Pay $90,000 to Settle Sexual Harassment Suit

BUFFALO, N.Y. – Protocol of Amherst, Inc., doing business as Protocol Restaurant in Buffalo, will pay $90,000 and take other steps to settle a sex harassment lawsuit brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.

Construction Company to Pay $38,000 to Settle EEOC Pregnancy Discrimination Suit

ST. LOUIS – The Harlan Company, a St. Louis-based construction company, will pay $38,000 and furnish other relief to settle a pregnancy discrimination lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today. EEOC Announces New Process for Requesting Formal Opinion Letters

WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC or Commission) announced today that it has launched a new process for the public to request a formal opinion letter concerning Title VII and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) from the Commission.

EEOC Issues Revised Publications on the Employment of Veterans with Disabilities

WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) today issued three revised documents that address the employment of veterans with disabilities, pursuant to EEOC Chair Janet Dhillon’s priority of providing robust compliance assistance by delivering up-to-date guidance on the requirements of antidiscrimination laws.

EEOC General Counsel Holds Dialogue Sessions on Religious Discrimination with Agency Stakeholders

EEOC Seeks Public Input on Revised Enforcement Guidance on Religious Discrimination
