EEOC Issues Federal Workforce Report for 2020

WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) today released its Annual Report on the Federal Workforce for fiscal year (FY) 2020. EEOC Scores Summary Judgment Win Against UPS in Disability Discrimination Case

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A federal judge has ruled as a matter of law that United Parcel Service, ­Inc. violated federal law by failing to accommodate and then firing an employee because of his disability, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) announced today.

ResourceMFG to Pay $75,000 to Settle EEOC National Origin Discrimination Suit

ST. LOUIS – ResourceMFG, a national manufacturing specialty staffing company, will pay $75,000 to resolve a national origin discrimination lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.

DHI Group, Inc. Conciliates EEOC National Origin Discrimination Finding

MIAMI – DHI Group, Inc., which operates job-search website for technology professionals Dice.com, has entered into a conciliation agreement with the U.S. Equal Employ­ment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) to resolve national origin discrimination charges, the federal agency announced today.

This resolution resolves multiple charges of discrimination filed against DHI, ending an investigation in which the EEOC determined it had reasonable cause to believe DHI violated Title VII when some of its customers posted positions on Dice.com

EEOC Announces Two Key Staff Appointments

WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) announced today the appointment of two key Senior Executive Service (SES) leadership positions. Christine Park-Gonzalez was named the new district director for the EEOC Los Angeles District and Elizabeth “Betsy” Rader will be the new district director of the EEOC Charlotte District.

EEOC Sues United Labor Agency for Disability Discrimination

CLEVELAND – The United Labor Agency (ULA), a Cleveland-based non-profit that focuses on workforce development, violated the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) by discriminating against an employee based on her disability, breast cancer, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) alleged in a suit filed today.
