EEOC Sues O'Reilly Automotive Stores for Sexual Harassment and Retaliation

O'Reilly Automotive Stores, Inc., doing business as O'Reilly Auto Parts, violated federal law by subjecting a class of female employees at an Orlando, Florida store to sexual harassment, U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit it filed today. O'Reilly also subjected one of the female employees to retaliation and forced her to quit, the EEOC said.

Remedy Intelligent Staffing, LLC, a California-based staffing firm, and Lornamead, Inc., a manufacturer headquartered in New York City, will pay $50,000 and furnish other relief to settle a disability discrimination lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.
