EEOC TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETING ON FEBRUARY 15

     

WASHINGTON – The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, February 15, at 9:00 a.m. (Eastern Time), at agency headquarters, 1801 L Street, N.W.  In accordance with the Sunshine Act, the following matters are scheduled for consideration during the open session of the meeting:

  • Announcement of Notation Votes
  • Contract for Financial Management Support Services – The authority to obligate funds for an interagency agreement to provide the Commission with financial management support services.
  • FY 2006 Budget Allocation for Fair Employment Practices Agencies (FEPAs) – The annual allocation of funds to FEPA agencies.  FEPAs are state and local agencies with which the EEOC maintains contractual worksharing agreements to process charges of employment discrimination under an annual Congressional appropriation.
  • Proposed Regulatory Agenda for the Spring of 2006 - The proposed Spring 2006 Regulatory Agenda, which lists all regulations expected to be under development or review by the Commission in the next 12 months.

The Commission is scheduled to meet in closed session immediately following the open session of the meeting, to address a federal sector discrimination appellate decision.
