Please be advised that, you have the option to schedule a telephone interview, an interview by video with an EEOC representative, or an in-person interview at our office.  Individuals who come into the office without an appointment will be screened for appropriate follow-up. Scheduling an interview is strongly recommended and individuals with appointments will be given priority.  

You are encouraged to visit the EEOC Public Portal (https://publicportal.eeoc.gov/) to schedule an intake appointment by telephone, by video or in-person.   The system can also be accessed by going directly to our website at https://www.eeoc.gov/

There are strict deadlines for filing a charge of discrimination, please review the information in the timeliness tab or call 1-800-669-4000. 

For individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, you can reach EEOC by videophone at 1-844-234-5122. If you have a disability which prevents you from accessing the Public Portal or you otherwise have difficulty with accessing the portal, please call 1-800-669-4000.

Office Hours

The Denver Field Office is located at 950 17th Street, Suite 300, Denver, CO 80202.   The office is located  on the 3rd floor of the US Bank Tower at the Southeast corner of 17th Street and Curtis Street.  The nearest bus stop (Z Stop) is located at 17th Street and Curtis Street. We do not validate parking tickets.  The lobby hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.   Intake interviews are conducted every day of the week with the exception of Wednesdays.   Please  go to the on-line intake scheduling calendar to set an intake appointment.   If you elect to walk-in without an appointment, we cannot guarantee you will be interviewed that day.

To begin the intake process, use the online system at https://publicportal.eeoc.gov/portal/ to initiate an inquiry and schedule an appointment for an intake interview.  You may also access the online system by going directly to our website at www.eeoc.gov. Click on the link under the “How to” area titled “File a charge of employment discrimination.” Then, click on the link, “EEOC Public Portal.” Please note that individuals with scheduled appointments will be given priority over those without scheduled appointments. You are encouraged to go the website to obtain information about agency jurisdiction and the charge filing process.


La Oficina de  la Comisión de Igualdad de Oportunidades en el Empleo (EEOC, por sus siglas en inglés) de Denver está ubicada en 950 17th Street, Suite 300, Denver, CO 80202.   La oficina está ubicada en la esquina sureste  de la Calle17th y la Calle Curtis.  Hay una parada de autobús en la esquina de la 17th y la Curtis. No validamos boletos de estacionamiento.  El horario del lobby es de las 8:00 de la mañana  hasta las 4:30 de la tarde,  de lunes a viernes.   Las entrevistas de intake se realizan todos los días, excepto los miércoles.
