Interconnect Cable Technology Corporation Sued by EEOC for Disability Discrimination

TAMPA - Interconnect Cable Technology Corporation (ICTC), an electronics manufacturer in Brooksville, Fla., violated federal law by demoting and later discharging an employee after she was hospitalized for a mental illness, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed yesterday.

EEOC Announces Agency-Wide Telework

In response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) is implementing agency-wide telework. Effective immediately all employees, other than the minimal staffing needed to handle mail, will be encouraged to telework until further notice.

EEOC and Germantown Tool Reach Agreement to Resolve EEOC Charge

PHILADELPHIA - Germantown Tool, a manufacturing company in Huntingdon Valley, Pa., will pay $105,000 and furnish significant equitable relief to settle a harassment and retaliation charge filed with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.
