Army Sustainment, LLC Sued by EEOC for Disability

Cañon City Chili’s Restaurant to Pay $150,000 to Settle EEOC Sexual Harassment and Retaliation Lawsuit

DENVER - A Chili's restaurant in Cañon City, Colo., will pay $150,000 and furnish other relief to settle a lawsuit charging sex-based harassment and retaliation filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.

EEOC Sues United Precision Products Company for Age Discrimination

DETROIT - United Precision Products Co., Inc., a supplier of aerospace components based in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, violated federal law by refusing to hire a qualified older applicant, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) alleged in a lawsuit filed today.

Sunridge Nurseries Settles Discrimination Lawsuit

FRESNO - Sunridge Nurseries, Inc., a grower in the grapevine nursery stock industry, has agreed to pay $237,500 to settle a lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today. 

The EEOC's lawsuit alleged that Sunridge failed to re-hire a group of Filipino seasonal farm workers in retaliation for having complained about national origin/race discrimination. Some of these workers were long term employees.

EEOC Sues Retailer of Luxury Crystal Products for Race and Disability Harassment

NEW YORK - Baccarat, Inc., which operates a retail store in Manhattan that sells luxury products made of crystal, violated federal law by tolerating race-based and disability-based harassment of an African American employee, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit announced today.
