EEOC Research Finds Improved Asian American Representation but Underrepresentation in Federal Leadership

WASHINGTON – The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) today released a report titled, “Asian Americans in the Federal Sector.” The report finds that in fiscal year 2020 Asian Americans were one of the largest growing populations in the United States. Asian American workers were employed in the federal sector at a rate that exceeded their representation in the civilian labor force (CLF).

United Airlines to Pay $99,000 in EEOC Discrimination Case

Radiant Services to Pay $1.1 Million in EEOC Hiring Discrimination Lawsuit

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Gardena-based laundry facility Radiant Services Corporation will pay $1.1 million and furnish extensive injunctive relief to settle a U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) discrimination lawsuit, the federal agency announced today.

The EEOC’s related suit against BaronHR recently settled for $2.2 million and extensive injunctive relief remedies, bringing the total settlement to be distributed to class members to $3.3 million.

BaronHR to Pay $2.2 Million in EEOC Hiring Discrimination Lawsuit

LOS ANGELES – Nationwide staffing agency BaronHR, LLC will pay $2.2 million and enter a consent decree requiring extensive injunctive relief to settle a hiring discrimination lawsuit brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) the federal agency announced today. Jacinta S. Ma Appointed Director of EEOC’s Office of Communications and Legislative Affairs

Cudd Energy Services to Pay $39,900 To Settle EEOC Racial Harassment And Retaliation Lawsuit

A Texas-based oilfield service company operating in Williston, N.D., will pay $39,900 to settle a racial harassment lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.
