EEOC's 18th Annual Conference to Celebrate 50th Anniversary of Commission

WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) today announced that registration recently opened for its 18th annual EXCEL training conference on preventing employment discrimination in both the public and private sectors.  The event takes place Aug. 10-13 at the Washington Hilton in the nation's capital.

EXCEL, which stands for Examining Conflicts in Employment Laws, is the EEOC's premier training conference for professionals.  It includes separate agendas for the federal sector and private sector, which includes state and local governments.  The comprehensive training workshops and events are geared toward EEO managers, supervisors, practitioners, HR professionals, attorneys, ADR specialists and other interested parties.

The theme of this year's EXCEL, which coincides with the landmark 50th anniversary of the Commission this summer, is:

The EEOC @ 50: Building on a Legacy, Looking to Future Innovation

Further details about the conference, including the agendas, pricing information and online registration are available at http://www.eeotraining.eeoc.gov/EXCEL2015/index.htm.
